Red Rock Consultants are working with a privately-owned well-established M&E business, who specialise in the design build and installation of both mechanical and electrical projects. Operating within the commercial, retail, and industrial sectors. After seeing exponential growth and securing multiple long-term contracts our client is now looking to add an experienced Heath and safety Manager to their team to cover projects In the Nottinghamshire/Lincoln area.
You will be responsible for:
Working with and training all employees to manage, monitor and improve the health and safety standards in the workplace.
Advising company directors to ensure the business is compliant with all health and safety legislation
Advising employees on how to minimise or ultimately avoid risks and hazards in the workplace
Responsible for all safety inspections in the workplace.
Offering general health and safety advice to all employees.
Keeping up to date records of all equipment, regulatory requirements, and documents.
Conducting all internal Audits on procedures
Conducting External on-site Audits with employees
Responsible for the Management of NCR s and following through on the actions required, ensuring that lessons are learnt in the process.
Keeping up to date registers of First aid incidents / accidents.
Responsible for checking all subcontract labour health and safety information
Responsible for keeping up to date with health and safety regulations.
What is required
Ideally qualified to NEBOSH level.
Ability to understand complex information and relay it to staff in an appropriate way.
Able to work to work collegiately with staff across the organisation to understand, embed and promote a strong health and safety culture.
Experience and strong knowledge with the main health and safety regulations such as CDM 2015, The Health and Safety at Work act (1974) etc.
Strong organisational skills, able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
Positive mental attitude, always striving to complete each task with 100% effort
In return my client offering GBP42,000-GBP48,000+Package depending on experience
