The role
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day production planning activity for the business fully utilising sales forecasting information
Liaise with relevant site and group personnel to ensure adequate supplies of raw materials are maintained and managed
You will take ownership for the strategy to drive department improvement and effectiveness with a focus on maximising customer service levels
Your experience
A strong understanding of planning and scheduling ideally gained within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment
Experience of developing and managing teams
Experience of using an MRP system such as SAP would be an advantage but not essential
