Finegreen are supporting an NHS organisation in the East of England to appoint a Properties Manager - NHS.
The post will be on an interim basis of 3 months, with an hourly rate of GBP34.65 inside IR35 through an Umbrella Solution.
The post holder will work as part of the Estates Management team and assist with all aspects of management of property portfolio, including interpretation of Memorandums of Occupation, licences, leases and tenancies.
Key responsibilities will include:

The post holder will work as part of the Estates Management team and assist with all aspects of management of property portfolio, including interpretation of Memorandums of Occupation, licences, leases and tenancies.
Key responsibilities will include:
- The negotiation with Landlords in respect of new Leases;
- Active management of properties within the portfolio to maximise letting opportunities;
- The drafting of documents for use with tenants i.e. heads of terms for the granting of leases, licences and memorandum of occupation; advising, and seeking advice on, all tenancy related matters for existing and new leases;
- Managing lease negotiations and rent reviews with agents, landlords, tenants and solicitors as appropriate, achieving favourable terms for the organisation;
- Agree landlord service charges and apportion to tenants appropriately;
- Work with NHS England to ensure the effective management of the primary care estate including working closely with lead commissioners and a range of partners e.g. clinicians, providers of health care services, patients and public to ensure that the development of estates solutions supports the delivery of effective, high quality and efficient patient care;
- Assist in the completion property data returns for PAMs, ERIC and FOI, or such other returns when required.
- Knowledge in Property Management through experience within the NHS or other relevant sectors;
- Understanding of legal aspects of property management, leases, licenses to occupy;
- Able to liaise with Solicitors;
- Good problem solving skills with a mechanical aptitude;
- Numeracy skills. Budget management experience.
