Hours of work: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Hybrid: Must commit some time to the office every week, must be able to commute to the offices near Royston

Kameo Recruitment is excited to be partnering with a software developer and world class provider of contract research solutions for small molecule discovery to the healthcare industry, with particular emphasis on the pharmaceutical industry; their customers include 8 out of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies worldwide! This Event Manager is a new role which has presented itself due rapid growth of the business. Reporting into the Head of Marketing the Event Manager will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of every aspect of the event delivery to support lead generation and brand awareness. You are comfortable leading events from beginning to end this could be the ideal role for you!
Duties & Responsibilities of the Event Manager
Work with key stakeholders to devise agendas
Correspond with invited speakers
Work with distributors on delivery of events in overseas territories
Branding and promotion
Ensure CRM event records are up to date
Preparation of all content digital and print
Promote events on third-party websites
Work with key stakeholders to ensure messaging is on target
Venue, supplier, contractor search and management
Monthly KPI reporting
Post-event reporting
Post-event content marketing
Face-to-face events
Research and maintain a list of potential events for networking, exhibiting at, sponsoring
Schedule meetings with business units to review potential events list
Organization of presence at industry events
Briefing company representatives in advance of the event
Shipping exhibition equipment/attending events to set up equipment as relevant
Preparation of supporting materials and coordinated delivery of same to venue
Webinar events
Maintain webinar schedule
Work with application science team to develop potential content
Host and moderate webinars
Requirements for this role
Proven end-to-end event management experience across varied formats globally
Many years of service, circa 5, delivering B2B events
Experience with CRM system (Zoho & HubSpot)
Experience using ZOOM platform to deliver online events
Experience working in line with brand guidelines
Experience marketing events both through posting on own websites using CMS, and promoting on relevant third-party sites/outlets/social channels
Excellent budgeting and supplier management skills
Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
Highly organised, pro-active, and self-motivated, you ll be managing multiple projects with tight deadlines, across diverse teams
