Contract: Full-time and permanent

Our client is a global biotechnology company specialising in the development of immunological products to diagnose and monitor patients with immunologically controlled diseases.

The role:

As a member of the product development team you will be responsible for:

• The design, implementation and development of diagnostic products.
• The improvement of automation processes within the laboratory
• Working in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS - ISO13485, ISO17025)
• Supporting internal biological diagnostic projects by working alongside biologists, scientists and engineers.

Experience expectations:

The successful applicant will ideally have;

• Educated to minimum of BSc in Life Sciences, ideally biochemistry or molecular biology based. (essential)
• Experience in molecular biology skills i.e. PCR, DNA/RNA extractions, cloning, sequencing etc. (essential)
• Previous industry experience within a biological laboratory (ideally 3+ years, but would consider less)
• Experience working within a diagnostics laboratory (desired)
• Familiar with Assay development and ELISA (desired)
• Experience working to GMP and ISO (13485 or 17025) standards (desired)
