This role gives you the opportunity to work for a global business where you will be responsible for the day to day delivery of IT Service Desk team.

Michael Page are partnering with a global client who are looking to grow their IT team.

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely response to all incidents, outages and performance alerts
  • Recognise, identify and prioritise incidents in accordance with business requirements, organisational policies and operational impact
  • Monitor and support a wide variety of information and network systems that include, but are not limited to telecommunications circuits, LAN/WAN systems, routers, switches, VoIP system, servers, storage, operating systems and core applications
  • Notify customer and third-party service providers of issues, outages and remediation status.
  • Perform basic systems testing and operational tasks (installation of patches, network connectivity testing, script execution, etc.)

Profile

Skills:

  • Windows 10 skills and Microsoft Office
  • Experience of Microsoft Exchange 2010, Windows Server 2012r2, Active Directory, Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager, VMWare and Microsoft Skype for Business beneficial
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Mobile device management and setup including Apple iOS
  • Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to none technical audience
  • Required to work occasionally outside of normal working hours
  • Flexibility to work remotely when needed
  • Full driving licence

Job Offer

Salary: GBP28,000 - GBP33,000 + benefits
