Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity within the manufacturing industry? We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our HR Department, based in Spalding, with travel required to our Labels sites. We are looking for someone that can build successful relationships with people at all levels. The successful applicant would have a minimum 2 years experience within a fast-paced HR department.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Working closely with other HRAs to ensure full consistency and application of procedures across the Division.

Working with the HR Department and Recruitment team to support on specific strategic projects which will enhance the Manager and Colleague experience. These projects all aligned to the business objectives.

Support on the PDR process that has been implemented across the business ensuring any actions are dealt with arising from those discussions.

Work closely with the HRM as directed to ensure effective, communications on site issues.

Supporting the recruitment team on a weekly basis on conducting pre screens before candidates are selected for interview. Whilst ensuring the company remains legally compliant by adapting and encouraging best practice.

Implement Coveris policies, ensuring they are up to date and that the correct procedures and legislation are adhered to by line managers.

Working with the Health & Safety department to meet KPIs and educating employees to work safely, as well as participating in the investigation process for accidents at work.

General HR responsibility to specific sites/areas of the group to ensure they meet overall business objectives.

Work towards reducing absenteeism by taking a proactive approach alongside the line managers. Mentoring and coaching line managers to use various techniques in which to challenge or support employees, where necessary.

Working closely with the external occupational health provider to ensure legal health surveillance is implemented (i.e. audio, skin, lungs, FLT). Trigger occupational health involvement upon identification of individual employee needs. Liaising with line managers to assist in implementing occupational health recommendations / adjustments, where necessary.

Advising and assisting line managers in the use of procedures such as, disciplinary and grievance, including any administration.

To ensure all Labels job description are regularly reviewed and updated in line with the business objectives.

Undertake such duties as may be required by Coveris, which reasonably commensurate with the level of the post, as directed by your Line Manager / Senior Colleagues.

Comprehensive employment law knowledge

Knowledge and experience of best practice HR procedures

Proven interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with a high level of situational sensitivity

Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload

Qualifications and Experience:

CIPD Qualified- Desirable

Minimum of 2 years experience gained within a fast paced HR department

Knowledge and understanding of current UK employment Law

Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly in Excel
