Our client are a well known, expanding business currently looking to recruit an experienced Industrial Process Engineer to join their team.

Overall Purpose:

To support the Logistics Engineering department with reviewing and analysis of operational processes that maximise efficiency and reduce waste.
Designing the layout of facilities and determining operational and personnel requirements.
Managing process documentation and preparing reports to evaluate and clearly present study findings.
Developing and implementing process improvements and technological updates where appropriate.
The function that the Engineer will be tasked with will be dependent on the needs of the business hence a level of flexibility will be expected with regards the specific role and location.Key Duties:

Industrial Engineering in a logistics setting(s).
A strong lead with process mapping and process development.
Provide CAD drawings to support facility layouts.
Application of Company Project Management methodology principles and procedures.
Assist with the preparation and implementation of detailed time based Project Plans.
Assist with project Risk Analysis and contribute towards development of suitable countermeasures.
Process and control project change requests (variations/concessions) throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordination of company resource to achieve specific project objectives and service level agreements.
Create summaries for capacity planning.
Process document change control throughout the document lifecycle.
Data reporting using appropriate presentation methods.
Achieve specific objectives and service level agreements.
Liaison with customers both internally and externally.
Work hand in hand with Operations to ensure minimum impact of project work and the seamless introduction of new initiatives.
Maintain project records in line with the company Quality Management system and BS/EN/ISO9001.
To take care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions at work.
Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with local rules.
Operate equipment in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, company processes and in line with health and safety regulations.
Support GK, 5S and other improvement activities.
Any other duties as covered by your contract of employment.Key Skills & Experience Required:

At least 2 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer or in a similar role.
Good organisational and planning skills to facilitate regular need to multi-task and prioritise work.
Analytical/problem solving skills and recognition of need for accuracy.
Good self-motivation and ability to work on own initiative and also team environment.
A bachelor's degree, a foundation degree, higher national diploma in Industrial Engineering or industry recognised equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A high degree of computer literacy including advance knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.The Package:

GBP35,000 - GBP40,000 per annum depending on experience.
Day shift, office based hours.
