The Job Role:

Our client is looking for an experienced Receptionist/Administrator who is looking for a fast paced and super progressive role. The successful candidate will enjoy a varied role working in a small team covering reception and providing administrative support to the senior management team of the business.

We are looking to speak to candidates that are confident meeting and greeting visitors, answering the phone and getting involved with complex and confidential administrative tasks. There is progression available within this role where candidates could in time move into more of a PA position.

The successful candidate will work in a small team of four - the team are friendly, hardworking and work well together so we are looking for a candidate that will slot perfectly into the team.

Duties will include the following;

Managing the Reception area including answering the phones and meeting and greeting clients

Assisting with setting up meetings - these will take place face to face in the office where the meeting room and refreshments need to be prepared, or online where the online meeting needs to be set up ready

Arranging meetings on behalf of senior managers in the business

Assisting with the organisation of internal calendars

Providing administrative support to the senior managers of the business - this will range from small administrative tasks to complex and confidential tasks

Providing secretarial support to senior managers including typing letters and documentation

Management of incoming and outgoing post - ensuring distributed, franked etc

General facilities management tasks including ordering stock for the office, purchasing refreshments etc

Working collaboratively with other members of the team and providing cover and support where needed

We are looking to speak to candidates that have experience working within a professional working environment. Attention to detail and good written and spoken English are crucial to this role. We are ideally looking to speak to candidates that are looking for a progressive role - full training and support will be provided and the role is likely to progress into a PA position in time.

Key requirements for this role are as follows;

Experience of administration within a busy professional working environment

Excellent communication skills including written and verbal

Excellent computer skills and fully proficient using the full suite of MS Office

Ability to work calmly within a busy working environment where priorities constantly change

Ability to handle confidential matters in a sensitive manner

Ability to work flexibly

Excellent team player who is confident liaising with colleagues at all levels across the business

Friendly, professional and hardworking

A good standard of education including Maths and English
