Pertemps are looking for a proactive Logistics Administrator to join an international client with UK offices based near Woodcote, RG8. This role, responsible for end-to-end logistics and importing activities for the European region, is a perfect opportunity for a hard-working and motivated individual to bring existing skills to a role with space for progression and advancement.

As a logistics administrator you will:

Have responsibility for logistics and shipping tasks around importing containers from New Zealand
Liaise with customers and freight agents as well as Head Office
Deal with customers and suppliers by phone, email and in-person visits
Support the Accounts Manager as appropriate with purchase and sales ledger tasks including sales confirmations, invoicing, requesting credits due, and month-end management account reporting
Monitor and maintain bank account to reconciliation with accounting software
Handling and reporting customer claims to Head Office
General office administration including handling inbound phone and email enquiries
Involvement in shaping the transition to new accounting and ERP systems
Assist the European Manager on developing new strategy and direction for the UK office

Strong organisational and communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Fast learner in computer systems and processes
Ability to work with multiple key stakeholders, both internal and external
