Business Intelligence Lead - SAP HANA/Business Objects

My Sheffield based client is looking to recruit a Lead Business Intelligence professional to analyse and engineer the flow/processing of Financial data, providing an interface between the IT Operations team for all matters associated with Data.

The Data BI Lead will provide technical input to the development of the Insight roadmap working to high standards of application development, whilst ensuring an agile approach.

As BI Data Lead, you will

Contribute to the technical leadership of the Finance BI Reporting data processing
Mentor less experienced team members
Ensure the robustness and accuracy of the data process
Enhance existing data processes to support changed business requirements
Develop new data processes to support new and changed business requirements
Refine agile stories associated with the development of data processes
Oversee the work of third party developers
Ensure the data solution for BI Reporting is in line with overall business requirement and technical strategy

As Business Intelligence Lead you will have demonstrable skills working within a Scrum Agile development environment with a solid background in data manipulation, SQL script programming, star schema data structures and Datamodelling. Your expertise will include a sound knowledge of SAP Hana, implementation and exploitation along with an understanding of the integration between Business Objects and SAP HANA.

Knowledge of Master Data Management, Metadata Management and Data Governance highly beneficial
