Our outstanding school in Lambeth currently have vacancies for September 2022. I am currently after a dedicated Youth worker to help children achieve their full potential.
The special primary and secondary school are for children aged 4-18 PMLD - Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties and Autism (ASD).

The dedicated support worker is to work full time 8.45am to 4.15pm (Monday to Friday) and is local to Herne Hill station. Previous experience working with young people who have severe learning difficulties is ideal but not a necessity. The ideal candidate should be calm, patient, and able to use their initiative.

You will be providing 1 to1 support and group support. The classes are made up 3-4 TAs and a class teacher in every class which means you will get a lot of support from your team!

The ideal candidate:
- Personal care is a must
- Proactive and willing to get stuck in
- Experience working with children or young people is preferred but not essential.
- Hard-working and have a genuine passion to work with children
- Emotionally resilient

The school is happy to consider support workers who can start from September 2022.

- Starting rate: GBP85.00 per day and then GBP106.03 after 12 term time weeks
- School offers a secure long-term placement
