A renowned energy company based in Dublin city is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This company is part of a large international network and offers excellent work/life balance with hybrid working, a 35 hour working week, brilliant benefits package and opportunity to move around internally gaining broad exposure and development.
Your new role
You will join the Financial Control team of 4, reporting into the Finance Manager role. The remit of your new role includes consolidating financial reporting statements, managing month end close process, group regulatory reporting, finance business partnering to ensure accurate commerical decision making and process improvement projects. Driving process improvement is a big part of this role for eg. reviewing and enhancing processes in order to streamline financial reporting and improve controls, and contributing ideas and effecting change in the company Finance Transformation journey.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally by a qualified accountant with 2+ years PQE, ideally in the energy industry or in other regulated industries for eg. banking. Candidates who trained in practice but posess private industry experience who have strong process improvement experience, knowledge of SAP and Power BI also encouraged to apply. Candidates qualified by experience with energy industry knowledge and strong technical accounting skills would be a great fit also.
