HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR
Aperee Ltd are currently seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for Aperee Living Ballinasloe. This is a part time position, 30hrs per week, to include weekdays and weekend work
A state of the art, purpose-built Nursing Home located in the heart of Ballinasloe, a town steeped in history and praised for its architecture, Aperee Living Ballinasloe provides an exceptional level of care to our sixty residents. Residents enjoy an abundance of both indoor and outdoor space and care is provided by our exceptionally accredited staff who collectively tend to residents with respect, compassion, trust and excellence. Requirements
Prior experience in a Housekeeping position is essential
Ability to manage staff and delegate work
Excellent English
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Professional, caring and empathetic nature
Duties:
Work as a member of the cleaning / laundry operations within the home
To oversee the housekeeping team
Rostering / scheduling of weekly timetable and communicating to team
Induction and training of new staff
Carrying out probation meetings with new staff
Ordering of stock e.g. cleaning products, linen, tags for clothes
Liaise with suppliers (products, equipment)
Update of Data sheets for products
Weekly inspection of the home to ensure cleaning standard is being maintained
Monthly audits
