For more than 25 years we have been a global leader in the field of biomedicines, in particular pioneering monoclonal antibody technology, a groundbreaking approach to producing medicines that launched a new generation of products to treat immune related diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and plaque psoriasis.

The facility in Ringaskiddy is operational producing biomedicines for both the treatment of immune related diseases and new and innovative cancer treatments.

In 2017, JSI announced an investment of more than ???300 million in the expansion of its manufacturing plant that created more than 200 new jobs.

Job Purpose:

The apprenticeship is a 3 year programme and will be located at the Ringaskiddy site and will be part of the Make Asset Management (MAM) Group. The main responsibility will be to work as part of the site Execution Systems Team under the guidance of a Senior Engineer while also completing the apprenticeship program as specified. The site Execution Systems team are responsible for the software program development, support and maintenance of all automation systems, including Process Automation Systems, Building Automation Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, Electronic Batch Records and Data Collection Systems.

Leaving Cert Qualification
Pass (Grade O6 or better) in five leaving certificate subjects, 2 of which must be maths and a language (English or Irish). Minimum 250 CAO points 250 CAO points; In the case of a mature student (over 23 years old) an industry interview is required.
