About this role: This position is responsible for setting the strategic planning and long-term direction for the service team functions within the Joints Business Group. This includes accountability for the Instrument Deployment and International Service Groups that are based in Cork.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading the long-term and strategic direction for the Service Groups, based in Cork.
Supporting and coaching Team Leads in the day-to-day operational running of the Service Groups.
Effectively manage resources within the department to support the development of the departments and key business initiatives within the Global Supply Chain.
Setting, measuring, and delivering against the WW service performance metrics, most notably with regards to set deployment rates, replenishment orders, OTIF and backorder.
Communicating Service and distribution Performance within the (S&OP) process, detailing root-causes, action plans and future projections.
Setting team and individual objectives in line with targets. Providing ongoing feedback, guidance and support to the team in achieving these objectives.
Producing and maintaining project improvement metrics, key performance indicators and analysis in support of departmental, organisational and the global supply chain needs.
Developing and implementing Supply Chain processes and strategies to support the Market growth of the DePuys Business.
Identifying and delivering initiatives that enhance customer experience, both at an Affiliate and end-customer level.
Building & fostering market relationships to support mutual understanding, trust and to drive efficiency.
Leading transactional and system process improvement programs to deliver continuous improvements.
Supporting and advising Team leads to ensure Quality and Regulatory procedures are followed, with Zero instances of non-compliance.
Contributing to the Strategic vision & work with the wider team to evaluate & deliver on Improvement Plans.
Adhering to the company s procedures.
Qualifications
Experience, skills & proficiencies required:
Ability to impact and influence, negotiate, and manage stakeholders at all levels within the organisation.
Good working knowledge of business processes.
Knowledge of Customer Service needs, products and shipping processes to resolve Customer Service issues.
Motivated to provide an outstanding service to our customers.
Ability to multi-task independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to proactively lead team Leaders through providing clear direction, guidance, and support.
Excellent all-round verbal and communication skills.
Excellent teamwork, coaching and people management skills
Drives for continuous improvement.
Process orientated.
Works well under pressure.
Good commercial acumen and detailed knowledge of our business and systems used not limited to JDE, SAP/ APO, Agile, Microsoft Office, MRP, Forecasting systems.
Excellent Organisational and problems solving skills - motivated to leave things better than they were
Ability to foster an open culture of building excellent relationships with business partners.
Drive, energy and enthusiasm for delivering to commitments and motivated by continual process improvement
High level of intellectual curiosity - sees possibilities and cultivates new ideas
Prepared to work in multi-disciplined teams with global exposure
