Reporting to: Accounts Payable Supervisor
Salary: ???35k Hours: 40 hours (Mon - Fri 9am to 5.30pm)
Job Dimensions
1 Practical
Solid grasp of English language and have a legal right to work in the country (evidence required)
Previous AP experience
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
Experience using accounting software
Experience using Navision and Coupa would be advantageous
Experience dealing with purchase order systems is desirable
Proactive self-starter
Ability to manage and prioritise workload
Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from senior team members
Good attention to detail

Job specific characteristics
Code and post invoices to the purchase ledger.
Operate two and three-way matching of invoices.
Work with the Purchase Order system to manage invoice processing.
Operate processes to manage Relevant Contractors Tax (RCT) compliance.
Processing payments.
Creditors reconciliations.
Preparation of vendor payment runs.
Processing employee expenses and operating with the online expenses system.
Credit card reconciliations.
Processing interfaces between the purchase order systems and the accounting system Navision.
Setting up new vendor accounts.
Assist with supplier queries as required.
Relevant filing and administrative tasks as required.
Assisting with ad hoc system projects if required.
Other features of the job
It may be necessary to work alternative hours, shift patterns or unsociable hours, including weekends and sometimes more than contracted hours. As part of your job, you will be expected to attend training events and/or meetings and travel to other locations may be required. Local requirements will govern your patterns and locations of work.
