General Farm Operative

Kepak Farm is seeking to recruit a General Farm Operative to join the team at Caulstown, Dunboyne, Co. Meath. This is an exciting opportunity to join a young innovative team and to learn and practice new farming techniques on a large beef finishing unit. The ideal candidate must be motivated, capable of working to very high standards and willing to work as part of a team.

The Role will include:

Carrying out daily feeding routines
Herding and handling livestock
Maintenance and hygiene of yard and machinery.
Working as part of the team to ensure daily routines are carried out on time and to the standards expected.

Requirements

Key Skills/Experience Required:

Strong Work Ethic
Ability to work on own initiative
Capable and comfortable operating farm machinery
Previous farm experience essential

Other Requirements:

Must hold full, clean driving license
Have experience managing livestock
Be familiar with modern farming practices
Interest in Agriculture and Farming
