Page Personnel are working in partnership with a leading manufacturing organisation to recruit for an assistant accountant on an on going temporary assignment. You will be available to start immediately and this role will be a hybrid working position. Head office is based in Warrington.

Description
Reporting into the Finance Manager the assistant accountant will have the following duties:
- Support in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Management of large complex data
- Providing analysis to help preparation of the accounts
- Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments for the business
- Reconciling petty cash
- Supporting with purchase and sales ledger
- Chasing of outstanding debt
Profile
The successful assistant accountant will be:
- Studying towards CIMA/ACCA or AAT
- Proven track record in similar role
- Excellent excel skills including SAP experience - advantage
- Able to work autonomously
Job Offer
Competitive salary up to GBP33,000 dependant on experience
