You will manage the end-to-end delivery cycle of engineering projects from the initial scoping of the need, through to commission/setting to work and handing back the completed project to the client.We are seeking a Project Engineer that has managed multiple projects from start to finish. You will be confident procuring qualified contractors and must be articulate, numerical and commercially minded. Your key duties will include:
- Health & Safety management for your portfolio of projects
- Writing specification documents
- Assessing tenders
- Financial management
- Programme management
- Technical assurance
- Communication with key stakeholders/customers
- Ensuring all asset data is captured and updated at the end of a project
- GBP37,400 to GBP50,600 depending on skills and experience
- GBP4,500 car allowance
- This is a Full-Time position, 36 hours per week, Monday-Friday
- We are looking for multiple Project Engineers so your base could be at key locations within the Thames Valley West area
- Required to travel to other sites 3-4 days per week within an approximately 60 mile radius with some working from home
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes
- Experience within a commercial and/or technical role
- Hold at least BTEC/HND in mechanical, electrical, chemical or civil engineering or the relevant experience
- An awareness of Health and Safety and CDM 2015
- Experience managing the delivery, design and estimating of engineering projects
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have your own transport
- The ability to work unsupervised and use your own initiative to deliver specified outputs
- Graduates will be considered that have some experience with wastewater treatment
