I am working with a business based in the Alfreron area that are looking for a full time, permanent purchase ledger to join their team.

Based in Alfreton, the company are looking for an experienced purchase ledger who is able to hit the ground running and work in a face paced environment.

The business offer hybrid working (3 days office based, 2 days from home).

Description

• Processing high volume of invoices and identify invoices that need to be paid promptly and within credit terms
• Preparing Supplier statement reconciliations
• Preparing and processing payment runs - BACS
• Processing manual payments
• Maintain accurate supplier ledgers
• Liaising with internal operations departments and external suppliers on query resolution
• Processing nominal ledger allocations
• Setting up and verifying new suppliers
• Assisting with closing the ledger at month end

Profile

The ideal candidate is someone that is wanting to be part of a growing business and that is able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment. As well as this you should have the following skills:

• Experienced in Purchase Ledger
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Working knowledge of Microsoft programs, in particular Excel
