Critical Facilities Shift EngineerLocation: SloughReports to: Shift LeaderThe CompanyWe are working with a fast growing Data Centre client side operator. The company are continuing to grow across the globe including having new sites both recently come online and more to come in the UK. This is a great time to get in with the business as there will be some great opportunities to develop as the UK business grows in the coming years.The PositionWe are looking for a Data Centre Shift Engineer to join the site in Slough. You will be part of a Continental shift pattern, with a mixture of days and nights and will have potential for additional overtime earnings. The team is set up so that you will report into a shift leader who will act as your mentor and you will act as a competent person initially on all AP works. You will also have a Lead Engineer who will oversee the individual shifts and be a point of contact and support should you need it. This role would be perfect for someone who has recently come into the Data Centre sector or who wants to get into the industry from a similar Critical or technical (M&E) environment. Ideally you will be a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical and/or Electrical engineer. The team are looking for an enthusiastic and well skilled engineer to maintain and monitor the infrastructure of the building and ensure that all essential and non-essential tasks are completed to the highest standard. There will be significant opportunities for training and personal development within this role. Could this be for you?Qualifications & Knowledge

• Sound understanding and experience with mechanical and/or electrical equipment such as, generators, UPS systems, LV works, chillers, AHU's etc.
• Recognised Electrical and/or Mechanical training
• Willingness to learn and pick up new skills
