Some office-based work (Milton Keynes area) required due to the secure nature of the environment.

Due to the nature of this highly secure environment, you will ideally hold DV or SC Clearance, or be a British national who is eligible to undergo the clearance process.

Senior Linux Engineer, Senior Infrastructure Operations Engineer required for an ambitious, large-scale project. Responsibilities will include building and troubleshooting infrastructure solutions from Architect's documents, taking ownership of technical incidents, problem investigation and management, developing and documenting change requests, create Technical and Functional Documentation, mentoring junior staff members and maintaining a good grasp of latest technologies to help support and grow the business.

The Senior Linux Infrastructure Operations Engineer will program and build, oversee Systems operations, Problem solve, Analyse, interrogate and evaluate data, draft/interpret technical documentation, be responsible for Problem, Incident, Change Release management.

Experience:

Agile ITIL Foundation level/relevant experience;

Practitioner level knowledge of hardware, software and systems being supported;

Substantial experience in relevant roles, including technologies in an enterprise environment, and of working within a secure environment, eg MOD;

Experience in a high-pressured, fast-paced team
