Recruitment Manager - Internal Recruitment - Supported Living provider for adults with learning disabilities - Excellent Benefits Package
We re looking for an experienced Recruitment Manager, Recruitment Coordinator or Recruitment Consultant to take up a position at a fantastic organisation that supports adults with learning disabilities. As the Recruitment Manager you ll ensure that the company is able to attract, recruit and successfully onboard capable and dedicated staff. On offer is a salary of GBP25,000 - GBP30,000 dependent on experience and qualifications and excellent benefits package of 6 weeks annual leave, blue light discount card, cycle to work scheme, chance to complete qualifications and training and an employee assistance programme.
The Recruitment Manager role
You ll be responsible for developing the recruitment department, creatively thinking of new ways to attract staff, ensuring that people have a great first impression of the organisation, and ensuring that the onboarding process ensure that the company fulfils its legal obligations for the safety of the clients.
The majority of the workforce are Support Workers or Senior Support workers who support adults with learning disabilities and there is an on-going need to recruit these roles for the organization to grow. You ll also help to recruit for management positions and office positions as they come up.
Attraction - You ll use a range of methods to attract new staff, from utilising online advertising, approaching community groups, creating fliers, organising recruitment days and thinking of innovative ways to reach new prospective employees
Selection - You ll interview candidates in the first instance, referring suitable candidates to the next stage with the relevant management teams
On-boarding - You ll ensure that pre-employment checks are completed, and safe recruitment practices are followed
The Successful Candidate
We re looking for somebody with experience of managing recruitment processes for an organisation. You may have worked in a role such as Recruitment Consultant, Recruitment Coordinator, recruitment manager or a HR role where you ve been responsible for the 360-recruitment process.
It would be great if you ve recruited in the care / supported living / disabilities sector before
You ll be ambitious and keen to really develop a recruitment department, thinking of innovative ways to attract new staff, and to ensure that the company s excellent reputation is upheld.
You ll have knowledge of employment law and practise and how to employ these.
You ll have the ability to write reports and develop documentation to a high standard.
