We are currently seeking Cyber Security Engineers to join our growing team
Responsibilities
We re looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to be part of a Security Operations Centre (SOC) team, managing projects and performing new security implementations for risk mitigation and regulatory compliance.
Perform risk assessments and provide solutions and advice
Perform timely security tests to identify and remediate any gaps
Provide advice and recommendations for security implementations, and be responsible for deployment
Ensure compliance to security standards
Create reports and carry out presentations to stakeholders, to communicate risks and work progress.
Requirements
Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Information Technology or any relevant field
At least 2 years of relevant experience in cyber security, preferably within a SOC environment
Certification in cybersecurity would be an advantage
Hands-on experience in SIEM tools
Strong understanding of security risks
Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems
Understanding of cloud, network and systems infrastructure
Proficiency in Shell or other scripts
