My client is a well-established Power Engineering company within the specialist field of High and Low Voltage Switchgear. They offer a variety of solutions for all HV/LV Power Engineering Requirements , including Protection, Metering and Control Equipment.

The company provide their services throughout the UK and due to their continued growth they have opportunities for Site Technicians to join their team.

The role of the Site Services Technician includes:

Working as part of team on all projects

Site activities

All Testing, Maintenance and Installation works on site projects. Working on HV & LV switch gear installation and maintenance. Tasks will be completed on both old and new equipment such as VCB's / OCB's / ACB's - RMU's and Associated Power Transformers. • Activities within the workshop environment (to be carried out in line with Company procedures). • Organisation of site equipment tools and ensuring they are fit for purpose and in calibration. • General site work should be completed following Health and Safety practices. • Ensure the work environment is clean, tidy and safe routes exist for access & egress. • Control of site time scales to meet contract deadlines. • General site labour management. • Working in the factory when not working on site. • Ensure compliance with the FORS, health & safety and environmental policies of the company and its customers. • Working within the Health and Safety management structure to ensure the supervision, instruction, transport, H&S awareness, loading, offloading, vehicular to pedestrian segregation, exclusion zones, working hours and fatigue monitoring whilst working on site. • Customer liaison. This is a site-based position but on occasion the requirement to work in the main offices may be required
