Team overview

Our Teams are accountable and responsible for Technical Advisory Services working closely with our Customer and Partner Management functions; we deliver value by underpinning our core propositions back into our organisation and customers through an expert business enables focus; we facilitate product information; and we provide support to our vendors, manage supplier contracts, vendor opportunities and reporting within Group Technology Sourcing.

What you'll be doing

This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely output from a range of data sources so that we can deliver Software Services to our key customers. Working as part of a wider account and service teams you will have focus on data, analytics and time driven tasks. You will be responsible for the day-to-day output and reporting that drives the service.

On a day to day basis this looks like:

  • Identify and highlight opportunities to rationalise, manage cost and provide value to the customer.
  • Compiles regular management information reports to provide accurate/up to date data.
  • Prioritise and co-ordinate own, and others work schedules to ensure that business and customer needs are met and deadlines are adhered to.
  • Ascertain customer requirements in order to direct the enquiry to relevant department.
  • Communicate on complex issues to meet business and customer requirements to avoid escalations.
  • Assess cost implication of best solution to ensure adherence to budget constraints.
  • Act in accordance with Computacenter Information Security Policies and report any potential or actual Security events or other Security risks to the organisation.

What you'll bring

  • 1-2 years of experience with software & hardware vendors.
  • Advanced experience of working in Excel.
  • Good working Knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
  • Excellent data analytical skills.
  • Plans & organises own workload.
  • Proven experience of high standards of customer service.
  • Good administrative experience, process driven, attention to detail, ensures accuracy of data, provides data for reporting and processing of information.
  • Excellent Interpersonal, literacy and numeracy skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
