Who you are

You will be enthusiastic person, who wants to start a career in recruitment. You will have a positive can-do approach to work, be resilient and self-motivated. You will have the ability to adapt to changing priorities. You will also be able to think outside the box to help generate ideas and find solutions. You will be reliable, methodical and have good attention to detail, along with good administration skills.

What you will do

You will manage all stages of the recruitment process with both candidates and hiring managers within the business. Focusing on recruitment for large volume seasonal roles as well as occasional specialist roles.

Your day to day will include

Building relationships with managers across the business and be the first port of call for queries.

Post job adverts on various job boards and social media platforms.

Sourcing candidates through various avenues including job boards, social media, networking, headhunting, referrals and attending any necessary events.
Screening and interviewing candidates.

Ensure all systems are up to date and GDPR compliant.
Schedule interviews and run assessment centres when applicable to the role.

Upload any interview scripts and documentation from the hiring manager onto the Gear4music s systems.

Provide constructive feedback to candidates.

Ensuring all candidtes have a good recruitment experience.

Flexibility to support the Recruitment Manager with ad hoc projects.

What your skill set may look like

Whilst previous recruitment and/or HR administration skills would be beneficial your soft skills and attitude are key to success in this role.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with colleagues from across the organisation.

Ability to effectively prioritise workload and handle pressure, interruptions, and multiple activities.

Experience in Microsoft products, primarily in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
