About the role
Working closely with the Head of Planning, Performance and Risk to manage the diverse programme of operational projects, the PMO Manager will play an important role in supporting the organisation to deliver the strategies of JRF and JRHT, ensuring a consistent approach to project delivery, change, monitoring and reporting.
As the PMO Manager, you’ll be a central point of reference for the programme of organisational projects as well as providing planning and project management guidance.
About you
This role is perfect for a bright, inquisitive and proactive individual looking to make an impact across the entire organisation. It goes without saying that you’ll have experience in project management, either in a PMO capacity or as an experienced project manager.
A self-starter, you will need to have strong analytical skills, able to handle large volumes of data, whilst keeping project reporting simple and relevant.
Excellent communication skills will be key, as will your ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, in particular at senior level.
With a working knowledge of project management methodologies, you will be able to apply these in a pragmatic and flexible way and ensure a project management approach is embedded through monitoring metrics and performance reporting to the executive.
