We are currently recruiting for an experienced part time Office Operations Manager for our client who are a leader in their field in Building conservation. The offices are based near to Stokenchurch and are typical of one associated with the building trade, and they are based in a rural location. This is a varied role, covering elements such as personnel, payroll, purchasing, costing and PA duties, and you will essentially be the leader of all office operations and will report to the Branch Director.
Duties to Include:
Administrative support for the Branch Director
General office support to the Site Managers
Chief administrative link to Head Office where payroll & accounts are based, providing accurate data for payroll
Maintaining personnel, holiday & absence records
Administering new starters and apprentices
Producing & managing the training plan for the branch
Applying for & chasing through training & other grants
Purchasing for the Branch Director and Site Managers
Supplying the (remote) accounts team with purchase and invoice information.
Researching Deals and contracts
Administering annual stock check/petty cash
Answering incoming calls, assisting with new enquiries
Supervising the Office Administrator
Collating & submitting annual SMAS accreditations
Requirements:
Previous Office Manager experience
Excellent Administration and communication skills
Competent Microsoft user (Outlook,Excel and word) essential
Professional and confident and flexible attitude to work
Ability to prioritise and organise own workload - essential
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work in a small dedicated team
Good sense of humour
An interest in historic buildings beneficial
A tolerance to dogs is important
Working hours: 24 hours per week (ideally Tuesdays,Wednesdays and Fridays) 9.00am - 5.30pm
Salary - Please NOTE: Salary is pro rated, and is based on experience
Due to the location of the offices all applicants must be able to drive
