Brief Overview of the Role:
Do you want to start your career with an Apprenticeship? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. As a Business Administration Apprentice, you would be dealing with the promotion of Uddeholm products. Tasks will include managing key accounts, ensuring a first class service is given, as well as dealing with general day to day office tasks. You will be required to build effective working relationships with both internal and external colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will be learning hands on, gaining knowledge of the difference processes and systems, becoming a valued member of the team. You will also complete your Business Administration Level 3 course with blended learning of online and meetings with your tutor.
Duties to include:
Create quotes, orders and learn all the related steps in our system.
Place orders to the mill and follow up to ensure a timely delivery.
Support colleagues.
Ensure swift turn around from enquiry to quotation.
Input sales order onto the computer accurately.
Resolve queries or problems
Keep line manager and colleagues aware of anything major in the pipeline, good or bad
File documentation accurately with contacts
Keep accurate specific customer information up to date.
Understand group products and offer if there is a customer need.
Manage quotation management system when required.
Co-operate with your employer on health and safety.
Support the company with environmental initiatives and any compliance issues.
This is a really varied role for the right enthusiastic individual to really show what they can do, with opportunities to grow and develop within a team. Training will be given.

Monday-Thursday 8.30am-4.30pm (half an hour unpaid lunch) Friday 8.30am-1.30pm
Total hours - 35
Weekly wage - GBP230.76
Training to be Given

Future Prospects
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, a full-time permanent position may be offered. This will be at the discretion of the company.

For the duration of the apprenticeship, you will be employed by The Apprenticeship Works, with Bohler Uddeholm UK Ltd being the host employer. The company are focused on technologically demanding product segments. They are a UK market leader in speciality steels, tool steel, tube and piping products, and for provide a value-added service such as machining, milling, testing and additive manufacturing. They have many years experience of nurturing and developing Apprentices with many going onto higher opportunities
