Role: QA Automation Engineer
Location: Remote first, or North-east if desired
Salary: Neg, dependant on junior, mid-level or senior
Role:
Working in a digital product focused business with a clear sense of mission, as part of a high-growth team who are responsible for the organisation's online platforms, websites, mobile-apps and single page sign-on's, which reach millions of customers worldwide and generate revenue in the GBPbillions.
This new appointment will be significant for their Automation journey.
From humble beginnings to now over 500 in technology and over 30 QA engineer's organisation wide. This role will be one of their first QA Automation Engineers / Software Developers in Test.
Now set to enhance the Automation team, this role comes with huge progression opportunity, the ability to be involved from strategy to building Automation efforts from the ground up.
A recognised brand, that is focused on learning. Expect variety.
Role:
Building, setting up Automation Frameworks for real enterprise-wide eCommerce platforms and apps
Taking ideas and turning these into Frameworks for API testing
Working with high-performing engineering teams and advising on Automation tools and techniques
Working within Agile/Scrum environments comprising of cross-functional teams, including Developers, BA's, Testers and DevOps Engineers
Working on a multitude of projects, products and platforms
Skills / Experience:
We are open to junior, mid-level or senior Automation Engineers / Software Developers in Test
Experience using Automation tools / frameworks, Selenium Webdriver would be a nice to have
Experience of working with Software Engineering environments, C# or Java would be really useful
Experience with version control (the business use GIT)
The role can operate 100% remote, or if you want to be office based, they have offices in the North-east
