Established and growing precision engineering company based in Sheffield. We are reliable partners to a number of world class OEM companies who have come to rely on us over the years to deal with their precision engineering requirements. We specialise in Hydraulics component manufacture, assembly and testing mainly for the agricultural and automotive markets. Our equipment includes CNC Lathes, CNC Machining Centres, Grinding and Honing machines and we have fully equipped inspection facilities.
Part of a larger group of engineering companies our head office based in Chertsey supplying Formula 1, Aerospace, Marine, Defence, Oil and gas.
We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner- Programmer/Setter/Operator preferably with experience working in a precision engineering environment. More importantly however, we are looking for the right person - someone with the right drive and cultural fit, who shares our ambition to grow and develop our business, our people and provide outstanding service to our clients.
The Role: Late Shift (4pm to 12am) CNC Turner capable of Programming, Setting and operating sliding head CNC lathes using Fanuc Controls. The ideal applicant should be able to work independently and demonstrate motivation to learn and develop.
The candidate should:
Have a strong CNC Turning background.
Be fully competent in reading and interpreting complex technical drawings.
Have experience machining a range of different materials.
Be able to work independently and also as part of a team.
Experience of CNC Sliding Head machines would be a distinct advantage.
38 Hours p/w
25 days annual holiday + bank holidays.
Immediate start available.
Salary will be commensurate with your experience and potential.
