Ace Appointments Midlands Ltd are seeking to hire an Estimating Assistant for a client in the Sileby area of Leicestershire.
This is a permanent, office based role.
Working hours: 8am - 17:00pm Monday - Friday
Total hours per week: 42.5
The successful candidate will be required to process enquiry documentation and assist with the pricing of curtain wall, windows and doors tenders.
As our client continues to expand, their estimating team is receiving a high number of enquiries. This role will allow for these enquiries to be more efficiently examined and worked on.
Role Includes
Dealing with tender related correspondence
Collating, filing & printing relevant information and passing to the estimating team
General administration duties
Assisting in estimation as experience in the role progresses
Experience
Experience in an administration position is required
Experience in estimating is preferred
Experience in the facade industry is not required, but beneficial
Requirements
Competent computer knowledge & email writing
Experience communicating with others over email & phone
Experience in a commercial office environment
Additional Information
You will work under the supervision of the Estimator and Commercial Manager.
Our client are looking for someone near the start of their career, but who has had some relevant experience ideally in administration. There is room for progression to more senior roles within the estimating team in time.
