Client Details
An excellent opportunity for an experience Facilities Manager to join a third party logistics company based near Derby. The successful candidate will oversee maintenance and security of a large distribution centre. This is a modern facility, therefore any experience with automation would be highly beneficial.
Description
Reporting to the Site General Manager you will be responsible for overseeing site maintenance, health & safety and security for a large distribution centre near Derby. You will manage a variety of directly employed staff and external contractors, ensuring the site is well maintained, compliant, clean and secure.
Profile
- Previous facilities management experience within a warehouse / transport operation
- NEBOSH Qualified
- Knowledge of manual handling equipment (MHE)
- Operational knowledge and application of current Health & Safety, Environmental legislation, Quality Assurance controls and COSHH requirements.
- Experience of managing facilities projects relating to hard and soft service
- Experience managing internal operatives and external contractors
Job Offer
