Here at Juniper, we are seeking two Childcare Tutors, one at our centre in Wolverhampton and the other at our centre in Walsall.
As our Childcare Tutor, you’ll be delivering BTEC First Certificate in Children’s Care, Learning and Development at Level 2, helping students take their first steps towards a career in Childcare.
You will deliver engaging, effective, and innovative training sessions to groups of students, planning and facilitating engaging schemes of work. You will also deliver Maths and English Functional Skills where appropriate and ensure that students work skills are developed and that they are ready for working life by the time they leave Juniper.
This role requires someone with a positive, bubbly and engaging personality – someone who can build a rapport with a target group and be able to retain their attention during training sessions. You’ll have fantastic communication skills and be comfortable with dealing with conflicting and challenging behaviour. You’ll also need to be competent in IT, be solution focused and able to meet targets, providing a quality service to all stakeholders.
