Property Manager

Due to growth within the company my client, a super, independent estate and lettings agency with a great reputation in the industry is looking for a Property Manager to join their team covering the Bridgwater to Cheddar areas in Somerset with a salary up to GBP23,000.The successful candidate that joins this client will be looking after the property management for the Bridgwater and Cheddar portfolios. At Cheddar already, they have a fantastic Senior Lettings Negotiator, who also is very experienced in all aspects of property management. Therefore, my client is in a position to consider candidates who maybe don t yet carry experience in this industry yet - i.e. currently work in a similar role just in another industry.Main duties will involve

• Carrying out property inspections
• Liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors to organise work
• Preparing inventories
• Ensuring compliance of safety standards are met
• Effectively deal with enquiries from landlords and tenants
• Engaging with and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and clients

They have a separate team who look after accounts - e.g. rent collect/reviews so this does not fall under property managers responsibilities. Due to the nature of the role, they can only consider candidates who hold a full driving licence and have use of their own vehicle for business use.Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30-5.30 plus alternate Saturdays 9-1 with a day in lieu of each Saturday workedSalary Range: GBP21,000 - GBP23,000 per annum dependant on experience. Contract: Permanent, subject to successful completion of 6-month probationary period
