Our client an industry leading manufacturing business are currently looking to recruit a Production Team Leader to join their team.
Overall Purpose:
The smooth and efficient day to day running of the Production Team to the agreed standards of productivity, quality and personnel values.
Manage and Review despatch team performance regularly, identifying areas for improvement, motivate and develop.
KPI Reporting, inclusive of data metrics and actions to measure progress.
Support recruitment as required.
Store and handle goods in a safe and orderly manner.
Ensure production areas comply with current Health and Safety regulations and maintain high standards of Health, safety and good housekeeping at all times.
Maintain a flexible workforce relating to the needs of the business needs relating to Production Maintain a flexible workforce to deliver the requirements of the department at all times.Key Duties:
Ensure the agreed production schedule is met to the agreed delivery dates.
Allocate staff to the required jobs.
Monitor team production performance and ensure labour standard are met.
Ensure that the production plan is carried out to maintain and improve customer delivery satisfaction.
Input data in to the logistics department on machine and labour availability to enable the production schedule to be set.
Manage, motivate and develop production personnel.
Ensure all batch paperwork is fully filled in as required by QC prior to the batch being sent for sterilisation.
Ensure that team quality standard are met. The Package:
GBP28,000 - GBP30,000 per annum including shift allowance.
2 shift pattern: Shift One: 06.00 to 2:14pm Monday to Thursday, 6am to 12:30pm Friday & Shift Two: 14:00 to 22:30pm Monday to Thursday, 12.15pm to 17:45pm Friday.
