Skilled Wire Person required for our client in Slough.
Can you demonstrate that you have experience of working in a manufacturing setting with strong electronic/wiring background?
If so then you could be perfect for my client.
To be considered for the Skilled wire role, you will need to possess direct experience as a wireman working in a busy production company.
Previous experience of dynamic cabling preferable but not essential.
The Role for Wireman
You will be assembling PCB's, cable wiring and chassis building as instructed and according to customer requirements.
Looming, crimping, wiring and mechanical assembly. Candidate must be familiar in testing and inspection as well.
Specifically , you will be tasked with:
Assembling products following customer drawings and instructions.
To recognise wires and colour codes.
Crimp and strip wires by hand and machine.
Use the cut and strip cabling machines as required
Tin, glue and solder wire tips as required.
Prepare ribbon cable for assembly.
Wire bundle securing.
Shield termination.
The Candidate for Wireman:
Must have excellent wiring skills
Good electromechanical/ Electronic background
Can read from engineering drawings
Additionally, it's crucial that you possess the following:
Must have good communication skills and computer skills
We need you to be able to work autonomously whilst being a productive member of a team and reliable.
The Package:
Temporary to Permanent Role
Salary between GBP12.50 to GBP13.50/hr ( PAYE only)
Immediate start
Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
