Bid & Compliance Manager - up to GBP45,000 - Bournemouth
Our client, a growing business, based in Bournemouth are currently looking for a Bid & Compliance Manager to join their team. They are happy to look at this role on both a Part Time or Full Time basis.
Duties: Compliance (75% of role)
- Audit organisational compliance against adopted standards, resolving compliance issues, and responding to customers and prospects requests for information.
- Ensure that company and relevant suppliers comply with all applicable regulations and standards, with specific reference to:
- Ensuring user compliance and adherence to the policy, procedures, and protocols of the ISO management systems.
- Ensure currency and compliance of the ISO Management Systems and Accreditation:
- ISO 9001:2015 Quality
- ISO 22301:2019 Business Continuity
- ISO 27001:2013 Information Security
- ISO 27701:2019 Personal Information Security
- Manage the retention, secure archiving, and destruction of all physical and electronic documentation for the Company.
Proposal Manager - Role & Responsibilities (25% of role)
- Receive and study RFP/RFI documentation, identifying key points for stakeholder group awareness, clarify needs and attend strategy meetings for coordination of bid process.
- Coordinate bid process by gathering proposal information from multiple sources including standard templates, answer banks and coordinating with internal subject matter experts for bespoke input relevant to the bid.
- Meets proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, design, review, and approval; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing proposal status information to RFP requestor.
- Maintains quality results by using templates, following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone.
Required Skills and Experience
- Ability to set and manage priorities within competing deadlines.
- A good understanding of information systems technology, information security and data protection within the ISO framework of standards.
- Superior written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey information accurately and persuasively.
