The Fabric Technician will be primarily responsible for the delivery of planned maintenance related items on both the sites in Shropshire. The individual will deliver undertaking all KPI's and SLA's within the framework agreement of the contract ensuring a consistent and smooth delivery. They will also undertake reactive works as directed by the facilities co-ordinator / Senior Technician.

Key accountability areas for the position:

Primary focus on delivery of all FM Operations SLA's in accordance with KPI & Output measurements including:

HVAC (Air handling units, fan coils, filter changes etc.)
Extract Systems including (Fume hoods and Fume cupboard)
Fire Alarm (Statutory testing and associated checks)
Plumbing (Sinks and toilets including blockages)
Office furniture layouts
Roof and gutters (Cleaning and blockages)
Building Fabric
Carparks (Gritting, removal of leaves etc.)
Internal building fabric (Doors, walls, flooring etc.)
Painting (Bollards, line marking etc.)
Manage waste areas on site
Legionella Prevention (Flushing of all on site water systems)
Support/Monitor 3rd party maintenance supplier activities when required and report any corrective works arising
Comply with HSE requirements as outlined within the SLA and as instructed by the company policy
Act as a part of site Emergency team i.e. Fire Marshall, as required for emergency control activities
Report all accidents and hazards identified within daily routine
Carry out daily Mail Room activities when required
Co-ordinate the raising of purchase orders for goods or services as required, in compliance of business controls at all times
Take ownership and understand customer requirements and be able to demonstrate the ability to close out concerns and ensure customer is kept appraised at all times
Provide and arrange cover for the FM team as defined by line management
In addition to the above-mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined including self-deliver of small projects etc.

Skills & experience:

Customer services skills in the delievry of Planned and reactive works within a high profile environment.
Present a self- image of confidence and authority to enable effective customer service delivery.
Can do attitude combined with a flair for pro-active problem solving to exceed customers' expectations.
Ability to easily communicate with the Client.
Ability to provide services to the highest specification within a Corporate Building.
Strong team player within a Customer Service team and Service Providers.
Ability to manage service disruptions in a seamless manner via effective use of the team's resources so as to maintain business as usual activity.
Self motivated, excellent time management and organisational skills.
Computer skills and the ability to learn new software and systems would be a benefit
