Team Administrator, Research in Practice
Salary: £20,658 per annum
Location: Dartington, Sheffield or Remote from within UK
Hours per week: Full time; 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term: 12 months

You will work closely with our Events and Projects Officer and liaise with our partners and associates to organise online and face to face events. You will be required to set up and manage the technical hosting of online platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams, allowing our Associates to facilitate events with ease.

You will act as the first point of contact for our delegates, ensuring that their details are accurately recorded in our events database and manage all communication with them, so they receive accurate event information. Experience in using video conferencing platforms or a willingness to learn in this area is essential.

If you are local to the Dartington office, you may also be required to print, collate and courier materials to venues for face-to-face events.

You will contribute to the quality assurance of our learning events by:

  • Ensuring that events materials are accurately formatted, updated and stored accordingly.
  • Hosting our online events using various platforms working closely with the facilitators to ensure these events run effortlessly.
  • Inputting evaluations and using the events database to collate statistics on attendance and delegate feedback.
  • Producing delegate packs including copying materials, collating packs and organising couriers in line with our internal processes.
  • Attending and setting up events and liaising with the venue to ensure it runs smoothly.

About you

You will have worked in a similar role, be creative and have a solution-focused approach to managing competing demands. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and delegates. Since we moved our training into a virtual format, we have found that having the ability to multitask is a key element of this role. Experience with design software for course workbooks or a willingness to learn in this area is essential.

We work with clients across England and Wales from our main office in Dartington, Devon and a satellite office in Sheffield. Candidates can apply to work in either location or from home.
