Are you fed up of split shifts and late nights as a chef or cook?
Tired of working Sundays?
If so, then read on as this role could be for you. Our client a successful catering business based in Yeovil require a Cook or Chef to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
This role will involve you joining a small catering team and you will preparing and cooking a variety of cafe style food from a menu ready for those meals to then go out to local businesses and residents within the community. You will be cooking a range of food from baguettes, breakfasts and lunches to buffets and corporate meals.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a professional kitchen as a chef or cook and ideally have experience with shorter, quick turn around food orders. The role is fast paced and you will have the ability to communicate to rest of the team effectively and be able to feel sense of achievement at the end of the day.
The role will start at 630am and usually finishes at 230pm (although this could differ during peak periods) You will work Monday- Saturday, Sundays off!! You will also receive an additional day off in the week. You will receive ever 4th Saturday off!
