JOB DESCRIPTION - SERVICE SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR
SUMMARY
RMGroup are one of the UK s leading automation system providers. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a service support administrator to support the service manager with the day to day running of the department, working from our Newtown office (SY16), providing excellent customer service and assistance with provision of technical services to our clients.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To be a first point of contact for customers and engineers, answering telephone calls and emails
To log faults and allocate work to members of the Engineering Team
To take information from Engineer's reports to create invoices to send to customers
To collate information and make sure company systems are updated
To order parts required from suppliers to ensure adequate van stock and to complete scheduled jobs
To track parts ordered to ensure these are delivered in a timely manner
To follow-up with customers to ensure quotes/contracts have been received and to take further instructions
To invoice for service and repair work within an agreed timeframe of job completion
To liaise with customers to ensure they are kept up to date with the progress of their service job
To assist with the development and implementation of company procedures and policies, and assist with data entry on company systems relating to the service department
To comply with Health and Safety responsibilities within this role, as outlined in the Health and Safety Manual
To be prepared to undertake further training as and when required
JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Suitable candidates should be conscientious, self-motivated, eager to learn, and have good customer service skills. Individuals must have the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads to ensure customers expectations are met.
Previous experience using ERP systems advantageous but not essential
Good customer service skills are essential
Good IT skills including MS Office
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hours: 38 hours per week, hours flexible.
Holidays: 24 Days + Bank Holidays
Salary: GBP25-30K Dependant on Experience
