We are looking to recruit Early Career Teachers (ECTs) for work starting in September 2022 based in secondary schools in Durham and surrounding areas for a September 2022 start!!

About the role

The desired Early Career Teacher (ECT) will be working in our client secondary schools from September 2022, we have various roles available ranging from day to day supply cover to more longer term contracts. The Early Career Teacher (ECT) will be responsible for delivering their subject across Key Stage 3 and 4 to mixed ability classes. We are looking for an Early Career who is passionate and determined with high expectations of behaviour and attainment.

We work with a number of client Secondary Schools in our Newcastle office across the North East which have an outstanding reputation in their local area and are passionate about ensuring our community provides the best possible education for our children. We provide teachers to schools across Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland, Sunderland, Durham and Gateshead.

Requirements to be considered for the role of Early Career Teacher (ECT) you will:

Have recent experience teaching students aged 11-16
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of teaching and support staff
Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
Have passed your teacher training course
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

Qualified Teacher Status
