Adecco are delighted to be supporting our client based in Newbury who are seeking a Trainee Auditor. The role is working Monday - Friday and offering a salary of GBP23,000, plus excellent benefits including 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company car and company bonus.
The role involves travelling within the UK and staying away from home.
Duties include:
To reconcile, document and report stocktake results and co-ordinate and carry out extended stocktake audits.
Support projects where required.
To carry out Operations Audits; including Health and Safety, Security, O' Licence checks at various locations within the UK
To plan, prepare and carry out all audit work using structured audit programmes and maintain audit working papers.
To report in writing to the Senior Management Team all audit findings, including proposed corrective actions and recommendations on policies, information on actual operating practices and compliance with internal controls.
Assist with developing and updating Standard Practice Guides
To monitor local management responses to audit requests for information and corrective action.
Be involved with and learn to lead new system implementationsThe ideal candidate will have/be:
Comfortable working away from home
Previous audit experience advantageous
