Our client based in a city in Hampshire is looking for talented, hardworking Bench Joiners to join their architectural joinery team. They are established in the ultra high net worth market and specialise in the art of bespoke joinery for some of the finest properties in the South of England.
This is a permanent role which involves making high quality, bespoke joinery ranging from external and internal doors and flooring, through to staircases, panelling, architrave and kitchens, all of which are made using traditional, time-honoured techniques,
Applicants should have a qualification in City and Guilds or NVQ equivalent in Carpentry and Joinery experience as well as a willingness to learn.
Applicants must have experience in the making of all types of bench joinery and machining processes, excellent attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret drawings and the capability to resolve any complications in a timely manner.
Experience in using all kinds of woodworking machinery, power tools, along with a willingness to use a wide variety of traditional hand tools is essential.
On occasion, there will be a requirement for site work to be undertaken, so applicants must be willing to travel to site locations when needed. Also prepared to work additional time as is reasonably required.
The successful applicant must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
Pay is offered at competitive rates and based on experience.
