Smart Solution is recruiting for First Fixer/maintenance assistant at a leading logistic company in Cannock
Pay rate: 10.86GBP/h
Shift: 4 on 4 off
2 x 12hr day shifts: 6am - 6pm
2 x 12hr night shifts: 6pm - 6am
4 x rest day
Key duties:
The role will involve assisting maintenance crews with their tasks e.g.
Repairing basic faults on the system, such as correcting pallets, resetting conveyor locations, resetting faults on the auto-wrappers etc.
Attending pallet restacks
The role is physically demanding with a lot of walking and climbing ladders. You will be working on mezzanine floors and so cannot be afraid of heights.
Essential skills
An engineering background would be preferred however it is not essential as full training will be provided in line with Safe Systems of Work.
