ICON Clinical Research, a leading provider in clinical trial services, management and delivery, is looking for experienced patient recruitment professionals to join our dynamic team.

Summary:

The Patient Recruitment Planning Manager will play a key role within ICON s Patient Recruitment Services team which specializes in development and delivery of strategic recruitment and retention campaigns and novel patient engagement solutions.

Recruitment Managers serve as the technical expert in Patient Recruitment and Retention Planning process for internal and external customers alike and provide strategic input to Business Development, Clinical Operations and Sponsors.

The Role

Travel (approximately 10%) domestic and/or international.
Provide strategic support and act as a functional lead / technical expert on all aspects of Recruitment and Retention Planning for proposals including reaching out to appropriate Recruitment vendors and the provision of internal and pass-through budgets.
Support, preparation and attendance at Bid Defense meetings in support
Responsible for the successful implementation and completion of the recruitment campaigns and retention solutions within the larger strategic study delivery plan.
Oversees and is accountable for all aspects of assigned projects.
Leads internal team members to ensure project milestones are met as contracted
Client-facing role leads all recruitment/retention campaign related discussions including contract deliverables, budget allocation, explaining performance metrics, projection modeling, and site performance.
Works in an integrated model within the study team; Liaises with project director, project manager, CTM, study startup, feasibility, regulatory, business development as needed.
Understands each protocol assigned and is able to lead and participate in creation/coordination of patient recruitment strategy.
Monitors and coordinates the efforts of the internal and external project teams and acts as the primary point of contact for clients.
Analyzes recruitment reports and projections and implements changes to strategy/tactics as necessary to achieve contracted goals.
Oversees IRB approval processes for all patient recruitment and retention materials.
Provides feedback to management regarding the maintenance of effective levels of recruitment activities for each project.
Provides campaign training to multiple audiences; sponsors, sites, internal team members.
Works with clinical teams to ensure lesson learned are documented and case studies developed.
Keeps abreast of current trends within the patient recruitment and retention
Actively identifies and engages new and niche vendors as appropriate to maintaining ICON s competitiveness.
Offers assistance and mentoring to team members to create a supportive working environment
Develops effective working relationships within the Patient Recruitment Services team to enable an atmosphere of motivation, creativity and innovation.
Maintain communication and relationships between all the relevant internal and external parities to ensure all intelligence is utilised in order to make best recruitment planning decision
Review and management oversight of Recruitment Vendors and set up/negotiate Master Services Agreements.
Deliver high quality standards and strive for excellence; Act in a proactive, flexible and responsive manner to both internal and external customer needs

To succeed you will need:

You will possess a Bachelors Degree in a life-science, scientific discipline, medical and / or communication, marketing or business studies
M inimum 5 years CRO experience and 3 yea rs patient recruitment experience
Highly developed organizational, problem solving and analytical skill, with the ability to prioritize
time-sensitive tasks and work independently, and to make decision and to progress projects.
Excellent communicator, both in written and spoken language, able to produce reports and project plans to a high standard
Must have competent computer skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
