We are an Ofsted outstanding, CMI Strategic Partner, passionate about developing the leaders
of the future. We are looking for experienced Business Services Tutors to deliver Leadership
and Management, Business Administration and Customer Service apprenticeships. Our
learners include recruited apprentices to senior managers, largely from the public sector but
also from a range of diverse national brand employers. You will be delivering our apprenticeship
programmes through a blend of online and face to face learning at the employer s premises.
Purpose of a Leadership & Management Apprenticeship Tutor:
You will be responsible for delivering professional, high quality programmes along with English
and Maths Functional Skills (where required). We use a blended delivery approach consisting of
workshop delivery, one-to-one coaching, and remote learning in client locations as well as
online. Your passion for teaching, coaching, and developing others will empower future leaders
to develop their knowledge and skills and reach their potential.
Duties and Responsibilities of Leadership & Management Apprenticeship Tutor
1. Deliver high quality teaching and learning both face to face and online, to meet individual learner
needs in line with the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework
2. Support learners to develop their maths and English skills and qualifications in accordance with their
individual needs, through effective teaching and learning, coaching and signposting of specialist
support
3. Effectively plan the learning programme in conjunction with the learner and their line manager and
support the learner maintain good progress throughout
4. Delivering Functional Skills Support to learners according to their individual needs
5. Ensure off the job teaching, training and learning is delivered to meet the individual learner needs
6. Deliver high quality Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) to learners, ensuring learners and are
supported to progress and achieve and made aware of their options throughout their learning journey
7. Maintain positive working relationships with employers and provide feedback on learners progress to
employers on a regular basis and as a minimum at each Programme Review.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date learner records a daily basis in line with, and audit learner files in
order to ensure full compliance with Skills Funding Agency and Inspection requirements.
9. Carry out a monthly self-assessment of performance using TPR to analyse data relating to caseload
management. Discuss learners progress on a one to one basis with your Learning and Development
Team Manager and address rectify any areas of shortfall and concern.
10. Ensure assessment of NVQ/QCF and Apprenticeship programmes meet the Ofqual, awarding body and
Ofsted requirements.
11. Comply with the Internal Quality Assurance procedure to submit the learners portfolios of evidence
for formative and summative assessment to the IQA team.
12. Respond positively and in a timely manner to any complaints by reporting immediately to your Team
Manager as a matter of priority.
13. Report any safeguarding issues as a matter of priority to your Team Manager and safeguarding
designated officer in accordance with the Safeguarding policy and procedure.
14. Attend and contribute to standardisation activities and maintain occupational competence.
15. Attend regular team meetings as organised by the Learning and Development Team Manager for
standardisation, auditing, company and team updates.
Person Specification - Apprenticeship Tutor
• You will be a management professional with at least 3 years middle management
experience (essential)
• Passionate about the subjects of Leadership & Management, Business Administration
and Customer Service
• Experienced in delivering Leadership & Management, Business Administration and
Customer Service apprenticeships
• Assessing qualification CAVA, TAQA, A1, D32/33 (essential)
• Teaching qualification PTLLS, CET or equivalent (essential)
• Experience of using e-portfolios / e-learning platform (essential)
• Business degree/Management Level 5 qualification or equivalent (desirable)
• Strong Maths, English and IT (Maths and English delivery required)
• High degree of initiative, accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
• Professional with excellent communication skills
• Flexible and willing to travel (however current delivery is mostly online)
